VERAVIN
VeraVin, derived from “veraison”, describes the onset of ripening in the grape-growing process. Just as it is pleasurable to bite into a sun-ripened fruit, take pleasure in enjoying this mature VeraVin wine.
Chenin Blanc 2021
A crisp pale straw yellow with beautiful clarity. Intense aromas of white peach, green apple and melon, accented by subtle notes of pineapple and toasted almonds. Crispy, refreshing palate of pineapple, green apple, white peach and apricot kernels. Enjoy with grilled fish, spicy prawns, mild curries or a fresh fruit salad. Serve at 12-13° C.
Pinotage Rosé 2021
A lovely salmon pink colour. A fragrant, layered nose with raspberry and stone fruits mingling with delicate rose-petal notes. Sweet strawberries, watermelon and pomegranate on the palate, yet a dry rosé with a refreshing finish. Enjoy with grilled salmon or tuna, sushi, prawns, light curry and fresh fruit salad. Serve at 10°-13° C.
Red Blend 2016
A creative blend of 53% Syrah, 30% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Mourvèdre, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. A deep ruby red. Lovely cassis, black cherries and jasmine aromas. Fresh, elegant entry, full-bodied with blueberry hints. Superb wine with black tea notes on long finish. Matured for 18 months in 225 L French oak barrels. Perfect with braised oxtail, ribeye steak, roast pork or blue cheese. Serve at 18° C.
