A deep rich ruby red. Characterised by aromas of smoky black pepper with ripe, black cherries. Carries through to the palate with flavours of wild berry fruit and hints of liquorice. A silky-smooth aftertaste, supporting well- structured fine-grained tannins. Lovely with oxtail, rich game meat, spareribs, grilled steak, or matured cheese.
Serve at 16° – 18° C.
